• Creating and maintaining a library for hidden markov models, that will be published soon under LGPL.
• XMLIO is an object oriented, high-level XML Interface for C++, developed by Peter and me.
• Installing and maintaining  GNU software
• Answering questions about programming to scientists at the center of applied informatics in cologne
